Sony Ericsson G502

Sony Ericsson are prepping a brand new feature phone and it is supposedly due for official announcement in two or three days. The Sony Ericsson G502 is an HSDPA candy bar styled in some nice black colors.

The Sony Ericsson G502 will have a 2-inch 262K color TFT display and a 2 megapixel camera (no auto focus). Beside HSDPA, the device will have tri-band GSM/EDGE connectivity support and the advanced Access NetFront web browser. Unlike Sony Ericson K660 it won't have dedicated web browser keys.

The Sony Ericsson G502 will measure 109 x 46 x 13.5mm and it will weigh 83.5g - now that's a compact fella. Internal memory stacks at 32MB but there is a M2 memory card slot. Bluetooth 2.0+EDR and USB 2.0 complete the feature set.

The Sony Ericsson G502 will be available in Q2 2008 in Brilliant Hazel & Champagne Black.

I tested this camera for a client. I didn’t have the light running for more than 15 minutes. The battery lasted approximately 6 hours before recharging. The LCD, however, had a few dead pixels - never saw this before. Tried returning for exchange and had to put up quite a fight. Anyone else seen this?
