Nokia N77
One of the more affordable Nseries phones, the Nokia N77 "multimedia computer"candybar phone started shipping today to retailers and providers in Finland, to be followed up with shipments to India and Vietnam later this month.
The news was more or less meaningless to the folks over here and probably most countries in the world too. The reason? The N77 is a DVB-H handset, which means it supports the mobile television standard currently being pushed by Nokia. Unfortunately, DVB-H is still only available in select countries.
The flip side is that DVB-H should be coming to America later this year, but only through trial runs in larger markets (such as New York City and New Delhi).
Besides mobile TV and DVB-H, the N77 features a 2 megapixel camera, stereo sound, Symbian, and a 2.4 inch screen.
